Wildschönau - Markbachjoch
A wellknown high valley, easily accessible from the Inn valley at Wörgl, Wildschönau is a recreational area famous for it's KRAUTINGER (a type of Schnapps that is only allowed to be distilled in Wildschönau). The Flying School Tirol / Wildschönau also has it's base in Niederau. This flying area is one of the best beginner areas for paragliders in Tirol and has the advantage of being a high valley with very stable weather conditions. The Markbachjoch lies at 1500m, Niederau at 900m.

This area is particularly good for large groups, as the Take Off and Landing Site are situated very close to the lift stations. Also the journey up in the Markbachjoch lift is very quick at just 9 minutes. The Markbachjoch lift operates from the beginning of May, making it possible to start our flying season very early. In winter we offer no flights here.
The flight price is € 110,- per person per flight from Markbachjoch and are available all day.
