Hintertux
The Tuxer Valley is a very wellknown "high" valley, that is only reachable from Mayrhofen. It is 17km long and ends at the famous glacial ski area, the Hintertuxer Glacier. The view from the "Gefrorenen Wand / Frozen Wall" at 3250m NN on a clear day is something not to be missed. The Spannagelhöhle / Spannagel Caves on the glacier are also definitely worth a visit!
Flying in Hintertux
Our Start Place can be found right at the top of the "Gefrorenen Wand" at 3250m NN. The flight time to Hintertux takes approx. 25-30 min., depending on the themals. The height difference of 1700 m makes this an incredible flight, one of our highlights!
The flight to Hintertux, however, requires good flying conditions: the glacier area can be unstable to fly because of the wind. Therefore we can not fly from here every day. Please contact your pilot for more detailed information.
We do, however, have other flight possibilities in the Tuxer valley, for example, the flight from Rastkogelbahn (only in winter).
Meeting Point is at the bottom lift station: Hintertuxer Glacier Lift and Rastkogel Lift in Vorderlanersbach (winter only), depending on the booked tandem flight.

Age is not a problem, but, because of the long take off run, we have a maximum weight limit of 90kg. In addition, the passenger must be capable of running a long way, quickly! For more details, please ask our pilots.
